For in your Easter bonnet, with all the frills upon it ...

Hats were a part of the early 1900s lady's daily wardrobe, but her Easter hat was kicked up a notch or two with bows, feathers and even a bird nest or two.  In many instances, Easter was the first time a lady would wear her new springtime hat.  Traditionally, only women would show off their beautiful hats in processions on Easter Sunday, now everyone has joined in the tradition, including pets.
